Committee on IT (Information Technology)

The Committee on IT assists the Dean with establishing the institution computer policy and other matters pertinent to it; coordinates the support given to the computer equipment users; manages and upkeeps the common-use and infrastructure computer equipment by setting usage rules; advises the acquisition of computer equipment defining the technical specifications of the model/platform based on service demands and, whenever necessary, the acquisition priority; manages human resources allocated by the Dean for conducting the activities of the Committee’s responsibility; coordinates and/or designs computer projects, research fostering agencies included; keeps the equipment records in the institution computer park and defines the strategy for its updating and renewal; advises the Information Technology Office with planning its activities.
