Internal Committee on Accident Prevention

The objective of CIPA is to prevent accidents; therefore, it should

observe and report all hazards within work environment;
request measures to reduce or even eliminate or neutralize the existing risks;
discuss the accidents occurred, forwarding a report to the SESMT and employer;
request preventing measures for similar accidents;
orient the other workers concerning accident prevention.
Human labor force is the base of any nation; therefore, it is imperative that CIPA should be attentive to all work human aspects. It is the Internal Committee on Accident Prevention’s responsibility to take actions so that this human workforce can be used the safest as possible.
