Double Degree Program

Double Degree Agreement between School of Dentistry of Ribeirao Preto and the School of Dentistry of the University of Parma (Italy).

On September 16, 2021, the USP’s Undergraduate Studies Council approved the Double Academic Degree Agreement between School of Dentistry of Ribeirao Preto (Brazil) and the School of Dentistry of the University of Parma (Italy).

According to the agreement’s coordinator, Professor Daniela Bazan Palioto Bulle, the Double Academic Program is an outcome of the great results obtained by both Universities through the academic exchange agreements established in 2016. Since then, FORP have hosted 12 italian students and UNIPR hosted 4 students from FORP.

This new academic exchange’s modality will allow students to carry out a year of activities abroad and obtain the title of Dental Surgery at both Universities. To FORP’s students, the exchange will take place in the second semester of the 5th year of the course. After a year of activities at the Italian University, FORP’s students return to the home institution to defend the TCC and finish their Dentistry formation.

Professor Palioto recorded immeasurable gratitude to FORP’s Dean and to FORP’s Undergraduate Committee Coordinator, Professors Paulo Nelson Filho and Michel Reis Messora, who spared no effort to settle the agreement; to the professors of the Committee who helped to amend the proposal; and, mainly, to the administrative staff who gave her total support during the preparation and approval of the Double Degree Program:
